Went in for two interviews, along with multiple phone calls. The first interview was over the phone, and I was asked basic information along with being offered the opportunity to ask for information. After what appeared to be a good conversation, I was asked to come into the office.
The office interview took place during the Covid-19 pandemic, so masks were part of the wardrobe, which made speaking a bit difficult for both myself and the interviewer. Still, the interviewer was courteous, asking various questions and allowing me the chance to ask any of my own despite having quite a few.
Eventually, I had a second interview conducted over the Internet that was a bit delayed by technical issues. The interviewer showed considerate patience while I tried to get things working. Aside from that, the interview seemed decent enough.
While I did not get the job, I was given a polite parting message indicating that if I was interested in a future role, I should consider applying at Bombardier. If there was any issue, it was that their getting back to me seemed delayed, and for a time, I was worried about being ghosted enough that I sent a follow-up message about a week or so after the second interview just to be safe.
