Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Absolute Translations (Londres, Inglaterra) em jan. de 2019
Entrevista
I applied for the job online, I was then emailed and asked to complete an online exam - this exam consisted of timed sections for simple mathematical questions and also non-verbal reasoning questions. The exam took just under 1 hour. Once I had completed the exam, I was contacted to book a face-to-face interview in Central London at their main office, the booking was done through a website.
I was then contacted once again to ask me to complete the exam which I had already taken, I am unsure if this was due to lack of communication between team members or a system error. I was able to let them know that I had already completed the exam.
For the face-to-face interview I attended the London offices, it was a fairly informal interview. I was greeted by a member of the team and I waited around 10 minutes to be collected.
I was asked standard questions about my experience and my current job role and my reasons for leaving.
The interviewer spoke a lot about his career path and his successes and the successes of the company which were all very positive and allowed me to have a good view of the company.
The interview lasted 30-45 minutes, although I learned much about the company I did feel that often the questions and interview process was a little convoluted - the questions and examples that were given led me to be unsure on how I was to answer the question and left me feeling a little flustered. However, I do understand that this may have been a conscious decision by the interviewer to ask questions in this manner. The interviewer gave examples prior to asking questions about what I could bring to the company.
During the first application process, I had been asked of my salary expectations. However, at the end of the interview the salary was discussed and it was not only lower than my expectations but also my current job role. This left me leaving the interview very disappointed as I had spent a lot of time applying for the role, completing the online test and attending a face-to-face interview to be informed that my salary expectations had been disregarded.
After the interview, I was contacted by another company to offer me a position.
I emailed Absolute Translations thanking them for their time but removing myself from the application process. My email received a very prompt and positive response which I appreciate highly.

I first received the request to record a self introduction and experience. Therefore a short interview with the Director. The atmosphere is quite friendly, relaxed and not too stressed or formal. The questions are all about the previous experience. I am quite lucky that this position needs to be filled immediately, so the process took shorter than I expected.
