In short, it is disorganized and rushed hiring process
In detail,
- HR contacted me on short notice via WhatsApp and repeatedly tried to schedule interviews at inconvenient times.
- Lack of respect for work-life balance – Both the technical interviewer and hiring manager explicitly stated that work-life balance does not exist in this company when comparing to the environment i am coming from, which raises concerns about burnout and workplace culture . The hiring manager didn’t even try to justify or balance this with any associated benefits which is a clear indication of lack of leadership!
- Unclear salary transparency – The hiring manager asked about my current salary but did not inquire about my expectations or discuss compensation openly although i am in a completely different country, when I asked about the budget for this position he replied that this can be taken with the HR team.
- Weak internal processes – The company has internal processes, but even the hiring manager admitted they are not consistently followed.
- When i tried to ask about updates regarding the hiring process, HR didn't respond then i noticed after couple of weeks that the position is opened again!
