Entrevista
Started with initial screening. Came down to Boston for final interview. Did fairly ok on the whiteboard coding challenge, which is harder now because almost everyone uses an IDEA these days. Some relational SQL questions, tougher when you have been using NoSQL for a year....seemed like a good fit, but no offer.

Entrevista
It began with a half hour phone screen with a senior member of the development team. After that I was given instructions for a code sample to complete before the onsite interview. The code sample was relatively short, requiring a couple hours to complete. This was followed by "1 on 1" onsite interviews with 4 members of the team. The onsite interviews took somewhere between 2 1/2 and 3 hours.

Entrevista
HR Phone screen. Phone screen with hiring manager. Onsite interview with 6 people from the company about a week after the second phone screen. The team I met all seemed bright, passionate & engaged. As part of the exit interview with HR Manager, I was told they tend to work quickly and would get back to me in a couple of days. Sent the usual "thank you email" after the interview. Heard nothing for over 2 weeks. Left a voice mail with the original HR Screener after one week. No response. Sent an email to the Hiring Manager. No response. After the second week went by, I sent another email to the HR Screener. Finally got an reply claiming she had left me 2 voice messages. I never received either, and since they had the correct # (see phone screens above) -- her claim is false. They decided to not go forward with my candidacy, which is fine -- but to treat people with such a lack of respect is downright rude & unprofessional.
