I applied online and without so much as a telephone call to say hello, I was sent a sql coding test to complete. I was then invited to a video interview. The interviewer said that nobody on their team could successfully complete the task as I had, then explained they were leaving the company soon. When I asked what was so great about working there, they didn't have anything convincing to say. I was then invited to their London office where I was asked to complete a business analysis task that had nothing to do with fraud, and an interview where I felt they weren't asking any of the right questions and the people didnt appear to have a human side. The whole process left me feeling like a number taking a test rather than a person applying for a job. At the very end when we were already out of time they asked me if I had any questions to ask whilst they were gathering their things and leaving the room, felt like they only asked to tick a box. As I left the building I couldn't help but think I really don't want to work here, or with these people.
