I applied online and without so much as a telephone call to say hello, I was sent a sql coding test to complete.
I was then invited to a video interview. The interviewer said that nobody on their team could successfully complete the task as I had, then explained they were leaving the company soon. When I asked what was so great about working there, they didn't have anything convincing to say.
I was then invited to their London office where I was asked to complete a business analysis task that had nothing to do with fraud, and an interview where I felt they weren't asking any of the right questions and the people didnt appear to have a human side. The whole process left me feeling like a number taking a test rather than a person applying for a job.
At the very end when we were already out of time they asked me if I had any questions to ask whilst they were gathering their things and leaving the room, felt like they only asked to tick a box.
As I left the building I couldn't help but think I really don't want to work here, or with these people.

there were a few stages, and the final interview consisted of essentially a word problem, and included quite a bit of mental math. overall everyone was very nice, and had a great office to interview in

Entrevista
Interview process was not as well-structured. There was not manager or lead present while interviewing a senior engineer. I don't think a Lead engineer as a sole interviewer is sufficient to assess a candidate.
The questions asked by the interviewer were often unclear, which made it challenging to provide best responses. The coding bit was present at the last 10mins of the interview, only to be rushed by the interviewer. No time left for the interviewee to ask questions about the team, role, company.
If another candidate was already been selected, be transparent and inform that to the other candidates , instead of conducting an interview for the heck of it.
