Within my current role, we use accelerated product testing in our life-cycle testing. Using DFMEAs, Technical Profiles, and Engineering Standard Work, we define our Design Verification Plan and Report, which outlines the necessary testing to ensure we meet our end of life goal. To reduce cost and test time, we use accelerated tests to gain confidence in our design by increasing the test's load factor.
