Phone interview, then 2 face to face interviews. All interviews 45 minutes to an hour. Seen promptly at apointment time. Branch manager and Sales Manager clearly had completely different ideas of what wanted hospital liason/sales person to do as far as goals and which products to focus on. Noted an open power struggle between the two during interviews to the point where the sales manager felt branch manager had "over-stepped his boundaries" by taking over the interview because he came out to see me before the sales manager could meet with me and thus immediately reported the branch manager to his (branch manager's) boss. Sales manager critized his current sales team in the city, calling them "nice but lazy" and expressed intention of firing at least one of them in the upcoming months.
