Confusing and mixed interview process.
What was supposed to be 90 mins, took almost 3 hours, and interviewed with a team in a different country than the one the actual job is based out of. Why didn't anyone from the actual team meet with me?
After some discussion, I was asked to implement from scratch a node finding algorithm, then got asked the monty hall problem, and lastly yet another brain teaser of sorts about poison bottles and rats. One of the two interviewers looked completely bored and disinterested the entire time.
Frankly the whole process was a big red flag.
Typical software engineer process. First telephone resume screening. and then OA and then Onsite interview. Each step is average difficult. But HR did ask some personal private questions which made me unconfortable.
3 rounds, not that stressful, love the environment. more like to chat. And maybe it would be better to prepare some tech questions, it sould be really helpful. But the tech comes until the second, and third round is more like behavior questions.
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela Autodesk em abr. de 2026
Entrevista
I first had a call with the recruiter to discuss the role, my background, and my experience. After that, I was invited to Round 1 with the manager.
The interview was mostly behavioral and focused heavily on teamwork, collaboration, and communication-related topics. Toward the end, there were also a few technical questions covering C++, DSA fundamentals, and other stuff related to the role.
Overall, the process felt professional and respectful. The manager was kind, approachable, and treated me with respect throughout the interview.
