1st Round (30 mins): The initial interview with the recruiter focused on background questions, behavioral questions, and discussions about salary expectations. 2nd Round (45 mins): I met with the Hiring Manager for more background and behavioral questions. This round also included a use-case problem and basic machine learning questions, covering topics like the confusion matrix, recall, and precision. 3rd Round (1 hr): I had an in-depth technical interview with a Senior Applied Scientist. This round covered a wide range of machine learning topics, from Linear Regression to Transformers. She also asked questions focused on data prep and modeling for a use-case (house price prediction). 4th Round (1hr): I was scheduled to meet with a Senior Data Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer for a coding interview in SQL and Python. However, this round was abruptly canceled just one hour before the meeting, with no apology or explanation. Overall, I found the recruiting team's behavior to be disrespectful and unprofessional. Despite multiple emails, they failed to provide any clarity on the interview topics. The last-minute cancellation of the 4th round, which had been scheduled a week in advance, was particularly disappointing and left a negative impression.
