The process was very clear and well-structured, with the recruiter providing a detailed explanation and a PDF presentation outlining each step.
The first call focused primarily on my experience and knowledge of my tech stack.
The second step was the technical round, conducted by three interviewers. The first hour was a discussion about my past projects and my specific contributions. I received many questions about WebSockets and GraphQL, even though these technologies were not mentioned in the job requirements.
The second hour of the technical interview was divided into three parts:
System Design (15 minutes): This was not mentioned beforehand. I was asked to explain how I would build a small web game, so I recommend being prepared for general system design questions.
Live Coding (30 minutes): I was asked to implement a simple React form with basic validation.
Q&A (15 minutes): Time was allocated for me to ask questions about the project and the team.
The final step was a second Hiring Manager call. This was more of an introduction to the project and an overview of the team structure.
While the process itself was smooth and professional, I've not received any feedback — even after the position was closed. The only update was that the application status was marked as closed in my Workday account.
