One phone interview, and one in-person interview with several people. Phone interview was a bit informal, more of a "get to know you and your background". It went great, and I loved the person that I had spoken to over the phone who got me excited about the internship and what it would offer as well as the role I would be playing. The in-person interview was a mixed bag. I was interviewed for a half an hour by two separate people in different departments- neither of which knew much about UX. One of them didn't exactly ask questions that pertained to the field or my skill or even ask to see my portfolio for the matter. The other individual I interviewed with was fantastic and made it comfortable to talk to about my work both in and outside of school (as this was an internship interview). Overall, the process was easy and I enjoyed the interviews aside from the one part. All of which occurred and received feedback within a couple weeks.

3 rounds in total + 1 offer call if you pass, almost 1 and a half month for me. 1-2 weeks between each round: 1st Round - 30 min phone screening with Avanade Recruiter. Just to check whether you’re eligible for the role and your expectations. Questions:
 * How do you know about Avanade? * Why do you apply at Avanade? * What are your goals? * What design software skills do you have? * Expected salary range 2nd round - First real interview is more like a design review in my experience so be prepared to present your portfolio. 3rd round - The interview questions are more to getting to know you and your personality — How well can you give a speech, organise events, meet new people etc. Final call - You will receive a final call for your offer.
