Entrevista
- Recruiter screening, hiring manager call, a couple more 1:1s. A pretty reasonable interview cycle.
- Recruiter was kind and communicative, and sent a hand-written rejection email with actual feedback, not a boiler plate one
- Overall positive experience, EXCEPT the reason for rejection was kind of weird - the hiring manager thought the role wouldn’t be challenging enough for me. I replied and said, well she never brought this up to me. She said nothing of the sort. That should have been a talking point in a mature dynamic to discuss it together and arrive at a common understanding. Maybe she’s right, maybe not, either way it should be been a conversation.
- said they’ll keep my resume on file for future jobs which never really happens.
