De procedure voor een ingenieursstage bij BASF is als volgt: een persoonlijk gesprek met iemand van HR waarbij ook je toekomstige stage supervisor aanwezig is. Na de kennismaking met de typische sollicitatievragen, worden ook enkele technische vraagjes gesteld om naar je kennis en redeneervermogen te peilen.

Entrevista
It was a phone interview, conducted to see if I would be a good fit with the teams that I would work with. It was considered a pre-screening to drop the list of possible hires down before investing in bringing the prospects down to their company.

Entrevista
We spoke on the phone briefly about a project that might interest me in piping. They invited me to an in-person interview at their headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany where the department head and my potential team leader met with me. They described what they did in their department and asked me a series of questions. The interview was about half in German and half in English. Only the department head seemed to understand me when I spoke English.
