One phone interview and then one in person interview. Acceptance and rejection letters were sent out the next day. Overall a pretty easy interview. I had to look at some plans and describe certain parts of a the process to the interviewers.

For the 2-month internship program, a user interview is conducted covering basic questions about the company profile, processes at BASF, process engineering, strengths and weaknesses, as well as potential and experience possessed.

The interview process was phone screen, second interview then a final onsite interview with a team of panelists. The overall interview process was average. They take care of travels and other arrangements if you do not live in the state.

1. Twenty minute phone screening from HR 2. Virtual panel interview with 3 employees from BASF. Lasted 45 minutes with typical STAR questions. 3. On-site visit with 3, 30-min one-on-one interviews and a site tour. Total time on-site was 2 hours.
