First interview: competency-based, just talk about your cv and why you chose your university, A levels, and your degree; why tax, what are your career goals; how do you know about the qualification; and BDO's four values
Assessment day: Intray-a letter to a client whose father just passed away. Talk about the current progress and additional issues and information needed, I didn't finish the writing so make sure you manage your time well.
Group exercise-a hospital cutting its costs and increasing its income. 10 options from which you need to pick out 4. My advice is to do the calculations and present the results after you finished discussing.
Presentation-choose a company and talk about its challenges, how bro can help, and benefits and risks. Keep eye contact.
Partner interview- nothing to worry about, just know more about you.

Entrevista
O processo seletivo foi consideravelmente demorado. Composto por testes de língua portuguesa, lógica, língua inglesa e redação - qual deveria discorrer sobre a minha trajetória.
Já a entrevista, teve duração média de 30 minutos (on-line), sendo com o sócio da área e ao final com. RH para apresentação do salário e benefícios.

Entrevista
There was 3 people at the assessment day including me but none were applying for the same role. Started with a group exercise where we basically planned an induction day wasn't hard and we were watched by 2 assessors. Then lunch where 3 current trainees came and talked to us. Then an interview with a partner. Was very relaxed he did more talking then me. None of the questions were hard and we talked through my answers. Lasted about 40 mins. Then a presentation based off the group task where you talked through your ideas with someone. Wasn't really a presentation just spoke through my ideas for 10 minutes and then was asked some questions. At the end there was a written task which was an email that you had to reply to. It was skill based on the original group task and was about how you would change the day for experienced hires. The whole day was run really well and didn't feel like you were being assessed more just getting to know some of the people who worked there while they got to know you. Overall you can't really prepare for the day so just go in feeling confident and smile. Just find a few things about the company and the job role you find interesting.
