The hiring process felt disorganized from start to finish. Communication kept shifting, with repeated follow ups, mixed messages, and unnecessary back and forth that dragged things out longer than it should have. Timelines were unclear, decisions kept changing, and it often felt like no one was fully aligned internally.
When compensation was finally discussed, the salary expectations did not match what had been implied earlier, which made the entire process feel like a waste of time. On top of that, interactions with HR were uncomfortable. The tone came across as dismissive and unprofessional rather than supportive or collaborative.
Taken together, the experience left a strong negative impression. Instead of feeling excited about the opportunity, it felt frustrating, inefficient, and poorly handled.

What would you do if the cleint ask is not clear and you have to deliver the output in the next our and no imediate seniors are available
I applied online and got a online assessment after ~1 week. I completed the online test but I haven't heard back since then. The timeline is a bit uncertain to me.
First round case interviews. Got standard questions about profitability and market entry. IMO the most difficult part was reading complex charts and distilling the key insights with time pressure. There was little behavioral.
The interview was overall efficiently run and very professional. It had 2 stages; a case interview typical of management consuting interviews and a fit interview to assess cultural fit with the firm.
