My worst interview for a sr. position till date. A 3 mths. process involving 2 rounds of interviews and a whimsical 48 hr. project assignment followed by deaf tone silence. After waiting for a vague noncommittal response to my request for feedback from the recruiter, i am taking to this platform to share my thoughts. My video interview (COVID protocols) with the hiring manager was not how i would have expected from a company like Bayer. I found it unprofessional for an interviewer to keep her video off when asking for a video call with a candidate and then interrupting a half an hour call for technical issues on her side. Clear from her conduct that she was checking boxes to fulfill an exercise .The recruiter did not bother to get convey the result, instead i had to repeatedly ask for updates. Extremely dissatisfied experience.
