This was the most bizarre and frustrating interview experience I've ever had. I had 5 or 6 interviews in total, including meeting the full executive team (CEO, CFO, CIO, General Counsel). I was also sent a case study prompt that I spent several hours of my own time completing separately - yet I never had a chance to share it with anybody, because I was completely ghosted out of the blue, with no reasoning or rationale provided. I didn't even receive a generic decline update... they just went completely radio silent on me after I had put 10+ hours into their interview process. "Empathy" was the team's favorite buzzword to throw around in the discussions I had - and I just can't help but laugh now at the irony. Their approach here was the exact anthesis of empathetic or courteous.
