I applied for the job and about 2 days later I received an email to do a writing sample. I completed that the same day and the following day (day 3) I received another email stating they loved my writing and they wanted me to do a mock interview, so I was scheduled to do my mock interview on day 4 of the process. The mock interview went extremely well also, so I received a call maybe 2 minutes after my mock call to complete an in person interview so that was scheduled for monday (the 5th business day). I went in for the interview. I spoke with 2 people each for about 30 minutes. The conversations went smooth, no dead air/silence or anything. They both basically asked the exact same questions and the questions were the same as the ones I answered in the emails. They shook their heads and stated that loved my answers and everything sounded great. Before leaving I asked when I would hear somehing back and I was told by the end of the week. So Friday comes and I receieved the dreading email that I didn’t get the job. I’m not sure why because everything went so well. I can honestly say I’m extremely upset and let down, but I won’t let this hold me back, it just means I have something better in store for me and someone will appreciate and see what a wonderful employee I am.
