Phone call with a recruiter - they give you the choice between a take home project that takes 2-4 hours of work or a phone screen. Then Typical on-site. I took the phone screen option because who the heck has 4 hours to do free work :(
The interviewer was nice and I write the solution and ran it successfully. Everything seemed to be good. But I never got a response from Square after that phone screen. Not even a "We've decided to go with someone else". Very unprofessional.
Inital take home, followed by extension interview, followed by a coding challenge, followed by system design interview.
The whole process took 3 months!
The interviewers are usually really nice and want you to do your best.

The interviewer was nice, and he is friendly and willing to give hint, the question has 2 follow-ups, it was hard to complete in time. The question was not a typical LeetCode
