Initial phone screening, followed by tech interview, then offer to interview on-site in Amsterdam. An offer was made immediately after the on-site interviews. I felt that the interview did a good job of vetting my skills. After, I felt that Booking.com had the necessary information to decide whether to hire me. And they did give me an offer, which I accepted. After the job was accepted, however, I was informed that the position I had applied for (Team Lead) would not be my starting title--that I would have to be promoted to this position later. This didn't offend me, as I wasn't interested in a lead position, but many other colleagues have felt quite betrayed by this practice of Booking.com. If you interview here, ask up front what your starting title will be.
