I actually forgot I had applied to the position, and received an email to set up a phone screen. I was going out of town on a preplanned trip and they were accommodating of my weird availability. I set up the first in person that day and had the first in person the following week after I returned. I was really comfortable with the team and the job, went through to the second round of interviews but wasn't chosen for the position.

1 hour interview face to face, CNRE had not approval for the role prior to the interview which was disappointing and they gave the position to an internal staff member and none of the 3 shortlisted candidates. It felt like my time was wasted.
