Good interview. Knew the role they wanted to fill but we're open to adapting it to my skills and interests. Personable and friendly, genuine interest in what I had to say and engaged positively with my questions and queries to make the role as attractive as possible.

My first interview with CBRE was conducted via Teams and felt more like an informal yet insightful conversation. The interviewer asked me about my background and experience, leading into a broader discussion on the current state of the industry. They also provided an overview of the company, along with insights into a specific business development initiative aimed at establishing a new framework within a particular industry sector. Their approach was welcoming, open, and engaging, making for a positive experience. Following the interview, I received encouraging feedback from the recruiter, who indicated CBRE's interest in progressing to a second and final in-person interview. I was informed that I had been shortlisted alongside another candidate. However, once the other candidate attended the in-person interview, the recruiter advised me that they were likely to proceed with them instead. Overall, the experience was positive. The process was professional, and I appreciated the transparency and constructive feedback from the recruiter.
