After submitting a technical challenge that I spent considerable time building with a modern tech stack, comprehensive functionality, and thorough test coverage, I was disappointed by the overall experience.
Despite providing a well-prepared solution, which adhered to current best practices and was fully functional, I received immediate rejection without the opportunity to discuss or defend my work. The feedback provided focused on minor, subjective aspects that are debatable and should have been addressed in a technical discussion rather than leading directly to rejection.
I found this approach disrespectful to the time and effort invested in preparing the challenge. The lack of opportunity to defend the solution or clarify any concerns felt abrupt and unprofessional. A more constructive and respectful process would include allowing candidates to explain their decisions and engage in a meaningful conversation.
