I was reached out by recruiter (through job portal) for an interview. I went through few rounds of interview process as following - 1st round by Architect - High Level Technical on Cloud + Java + Design Patterns, SOLID principles 2nd round by Managerial + Technical - API Mgmt. Scenario given to to make Build Vs Buy decision 3rd round by Managerial + Technical - To my surprise it went into Low Level Technical interview - Java - TreeMap, Hashcode + equals, Concurrency questions, Dependency Injections. Kafka vs MQs. Between each round they took min. 1 week to setup next interview and interestingly the interview was setup on same date when they responded that you have cleared interview we like to go ahead. I was like can you reschedule it to tomorrow. They did the same next round also. on 3rd round - when I was told it will be interviewed Director level and it will be both Technical + Managerial I was more set to answer Enterprise Architect level questions. To my surprise this round was touching more on Low level Java concepts including hashcode, equals. When do we use TreeMap/SortedSet etc. 1st & 3rd round interview panel, they just started asking questions and they never showed courtesy to introduce themselves or check with me if I have anything to ask. They never responded to me after 3rd round, despite me following up after 11 days of interview date. I am assuming 3rd interview did not go well so there is silence.
