I had an exploratory call with one of the consultants and was referred on to a screening call / first interview with someone more senior on the team.
I then was scheduled for a call with someone in the HR/Talent team. It was a very bizarre call as it started off 10 mins late and the interviewer looked like they just jumped out of bed. The 'interview' was a ppt of Capgemini which included slides on benefits to expect and how to advance in the company. It felt very odd to get a presentation of the company so far into the interview process and to not get any questions on my competencies.
Anyway, at the end the 'interviewer' asked me what my language competencies are to which I explained I only know English and am learning the local language. I was met with an immediate 'thanks for your application but we won't be able to proceed with you due to this'... directly on the video call (it felt super awkward and was certainly a bizarre unprofessional approach).
Note that, I did ask both consultants in my prior calls if the local language was a hard requirement to which they both said no.
My follow-up email to the HR/talent person with my portfolio and asking for more details was met with silence.
Learned my lesson and have now secured a better consultancy role...I get where the company gets its nickname from.

I was interviewed on SAP Native HANA topics in the L1 round, where most of the questions were related to data modeling and HANA concepts. The L2 round was a client interview focused on end-to-end project processes, real-time scenarios, and error-handling techniques. The discussion also included troubleshooting approaches and practical implementation experience.
