Was referred to internship by a friend who interned at Capital One a previous summer. Applied through a subsequent email that I received (basic resume submission). Attended a few recruiting events on-campus including a coffee chat with current TDP employees, career fair, and tech talk. Was invited for on-campus final-round interview soon after. Interview consisted of 3 interviews actually--behavioral, case study, and job-fit (coding) interview. Behavioral was pretty standard. Case study was actually pretty cool--we talked through a problem that Capital One engineers had to tackle in the past and discussed how to fix it. Tech interview also wasn't too bad (object-oriented programming question, array question, linked list question). Received offer within 4 days.
