I got this opportunity by its campus-visit recruitment. Before the job interview, the recruiting representatives hold an information meeting in our department. The whole interview process last about 40~45 mins for each interviewer. The HR had a list of technical questions, including the basic statistical concepts, analytical questions and a big consulting question. The basic statistical concepts is not hard, but for the other two parts, it may be difficult for candidates without related modeling experience.

30 mins phone interview and almost technical questions. I was invited to tell about the project I have done before and ask some questions regarding this project. Also, my programming language level was asked. There were also some standard technical questions like p-value, overfitting, cross-validation.
