      Entrevista para Supply Chain

      15 de jun. de 2011
      Candidato(a) sigiloso(a) à entrevista
      Toronto, ON
      Nenhuma oferta
      Experiência negativa
Entrevista com nível médio de dificuldade

      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Capital One (Toronto, ON) em mai. de 2011

      Entrevista

Long and drawn out process. 1. Phone interview. 45 minutes 2. Online Testing that was skills, iq, and personality. 1 hr for each test, with probably 1hr prep for each one. Google the process. 3.Phone Interview. 30 minutes. Confirmation of taking the test, more walkthrough of the role, more questions. 4. In Person interview. A discussion of how I thought I did. Additional personality questions. 5. Phone interview. More personality questions. 6. Panel Interview: it was a 1:1 interview, but they were comparing their scores as a panel. The first was with the direct supervisor, the second was with an individual doing a case study. Overall: They do not seem to appreciate their own time, let alone the candidates. They spaced everything out by 3-5 days, so it comes to more than 4 weeks. The case study is a joke. It's not a case study, it's a simple business quiz question. They seem to have cribbed the term "case study" from Goldman Sach's and applied it to the question they ask, as you aren't looking for a creative solution or having assumptions. The people and the process come across as being quite arrogant, passive and insecure. When asked questions about their day-to-day work. they mentioned that it mirrored the hiring process. During the interview process, they are on their blackberries, they touch their heads, space out for minutes at a time. They seemed really to complain about all the committee meetings. Not a good sign. After the panel interview, I withdrew from the process. Funnily enough, when I did, they said they were going to call me saying they weren't going to offer me a position, but that was scheduled for a few more days. I couldn't tell if that was their pride, or if they really schedule out their calls that way. Supposedly there are two more steps before that for a hiring process If you want to ace the interviews, look up examples of their case studies online. People have posted them. You can dress well for the interview if you want...it seems to be expected. But the people dress really casual.
