First interview by HR via phone which went well. Second interview was with two individuals (manager and a VP). Very quick to judge based on appearance. I felt like they didn't like me from the beginning. Even though I was in a suit jacket I felt very underdressed. They were both in all black, stiletto heels, black leather skirt, etc. This interview was more of an interrogation than an interview. I have never actually wanted to leave an interview before this one. They challenged almost everything I said. Very bizarre situation. They should leave the interviewing up to HR.

A lot of focus on past employers. Why did I leave? Didn't I feel like I wasn't getting the full potential out of the job? Etc.

Applied online, didn't hear anything so I followed up via email to the hiring manager. Heard back next day and got an in-person interview scheduled that week. Interviewed back-to-back with two different managers because I had applied to two positions (Client Development Associate and Event Manager). Both interviewers were very personable and allowed me to ask questions. A very positive experience. I expected the process to move forward, and was told so by one of my interviewers, but then the process stalled despite following up with the hiring a few times to see if I was still being considered.

I had a couple of phone interviews with their HR person prior to being brought in for a face to face interview. Both times I was called late (by more than a half hour) which rubbed me the wrong way, like they don't respect the time of others. At the in-person interview I interviewed with two people, one mid-level manager and one of the VPs. First interview seemed to go very well, the second interview not so much. VP seemed to have decided that she didn't like me before she even sat down to interview me. I left knowing that she hadn't liked me and I probably wouldn't hear back. Still, I sent the customary thank you emails. Never heard anything, not a word, not even a "thank you but we've went in another direction" form email. It was for the best, as I got the feeling that the company has a poor work/life balance and an air of pretentiousness - I don't think the culture would have been right for me, but I was honored to get the interview.
