The process was lengthy with several Google Hangout interviews, a coding project in Scratch, a self-intro video, in-person interview, and finally a reference check. I was given plenty of time to finish the project and video, but there were several stretches of weeks between each step. Now that I'm with the company, however, I understand the lengthy process. They are very particular. As a young, rapidly growing company, there are some changes on the horizon, so I don't know how this will change in the future, if at all. Everyone I encountered throughout the process was very personable, professional, and knowledgable. If this is a job you want and you keep being invited to continue thru the process, I recommend taking it as a compliment and sticking it out.

Very kind and welcoming interviewers. You can tell from their organization that this team is the leader in their space of education. Even though I didn't end up receiving an offer for this position, I would very much like to apply again in the future. The work that they are doing for K-12 students is really amazing!
