Initial contact with HR rep at a job fair, 9 months before interview phase. I missed the job fair round and got in on the next round of hiring. Was telephone interviewed by HR person with standard questions on experience, team spirit, my best and worst experiences. For worst (Again, standard) how did you learn from that experience? Another q: Name a specific example of how you positively affected in a previous job. Then was called in for an interview with the hiring director. It was extremely easy going. I think they only contact the ones they want to hire. He was really easy. He wanted to have a conversation about state of the art, how good I was (his words) and the good old days in his career.

My interview was not that formal. I was living abroad and had a chat with the CEO and COO over the phone. This was at an earlier time in the company. I just chatted about what i had been working on lately and then they proceeded to tell me about Cogsdale. Then asked if I could come in when i got back. I did, and they asked when I could start. Pretty easy for all. I know that the hiring process is much different these days.
