After being sent a link to pick the best interview time (for me) there was only one timeslot available. This happens, of course, so I took it. The Teams link immediately got sent to both my Outlook and iCloud calendars. After arriving to the interview time in Teams five minutes early, I sat in queue with a message stating that once the meeting started, the meeting head would be alerted to the fact that I was waiting.
20 minutes past my scheduled interview time I was still in the queue waiting for the meeting host/recruitment specialist to arrive. I sent an email over to the scheduling email asking if there was a preferred method to join the meeting (desktop app, desktop browser, mobile device) as I had tried all three methods, or if there was a different link at which to join. I received a canned response about five minutes later saying there was nothing more I needed to do, they were reaching out to the recruiting team.
I stayed in the meeting queue for the entire 45 minutes my interview was scheduled for with no one arriving to actually interview me, or at the very least apologize for the delay and reschedule. More than an hour past the interview window ending, I have not heard anything back via email from their recruitment team, either.
To say the experience was unprofessional is an understatement.
