I was contacted on LinkedIn by the recruiter and set up a quick phone screening to describe the position. The recruiter seemed to really like me and set up a Skype interview with the director of sales. Skype interview went well. DoS set up a second interview which was supposed to be in person but since he was out of town we set up another Skype interview. Third interview went great. They flew me out to Detroit for a final interview with the VP of Sales. Before the interview I was told to prepare a presentation about myself and why I was the best fit for the job along with a role play. I was given contact information for current employees in the role I was interviewing for and told to connect with them. They were very helpful and told me what to expect in the interview/role play. I flew into Detroit and they had someone pick me up at the airport and take me to the hotel they provided. Next morning the interview was about 2 hours along. The VP of sales was all over the place. Didn't really let me present the presentation I made as he kept asking questions about my resume and going off on tangents that had nothing to do with the position. The role play lasted about 10 minutes and they basically just want to see if you have the ability to ask open ended questions to get to the bottom of the problem of the "customer". I was told I could bring notes I took while talking to the contacts I was given, but apparently that is frowned upon as the VP of Sales didn't seem to like the idea that it was very easy for me to figure out his "problem" and solve it. Once the role play was over I was taken back to the airport. Overall everyone through the entire experience was more than helpful and friendly. Everyone along the way seemed to think I was a great fit for the position except the VP. So I guess don't take the advice of bringing notes to the interview?

Short, easy. It was apparent that the person who interviewed me already had someone else in mind. Kind of cold feeling and it felt like they had to give the interview.

The interview process for the Market Area Manager role at Credit Acceptance, guided by Jordan Frank, was smooth and well-structured. Jordan walked me through each step, promptly answering questions and keeping communication clear throughout.
The entire team was transparent about the goals and expectations of the position, which greatly aided my preparation. Knowing what was expected helped me tailor my responses and prepare effectively for each stage.
Overall, a positive and well-organized experience. If you’re considering applying, you can expect clear guidance from the recruiter and a collaborative, goal-focused panel.
If you’d like, I can tailor the tone (more formal, more concise, or more detailed) or add specific examples from your experience.
