Messy. I was approached by a recruiter for the second time, after the first process with 5 interviews and tests ended with freeze. Later thay added they were hiring locals, Belgians. I got interviewed by different partner, got a pass and the 2nd interview with team director followed. That interview was one of the weirdest and uncomfortable experiences I had. Guy had tantrums throughout the interview, saying that I should apply at different office (closer to my home country). He even raised voice significantly several times and couldn't sit still so on moments he would lean on to front and I could only see his right eye in my lower right corner. Wild. I felt quite awful after the interview. Overall impression is that Deloitte Belgium is quite closed and if you are not local wouldn't recommend applying. The team leaders seem quite narrowminded although they are relatively young. The recruiter just provided some vague illogical feedback, very weird team overall.

Their internal recruiter approached me via LinkedIn and I had 2 calls with them, one phone and second teams call. Ladies presented team the best they could and went through my experience, it felt more like a conversation thought they asked a lot of questions. There was also online test required prior (numerical/abstract/reasoning). Second call was with sr.manager and additional person who didn't present and show herself. Manager left impression that he is too busy for the talk, he mentioned he didn't even look through my CV. I presented my experience, he asked more technical questions and vice versa. At the end it lasted 1 hour, as all the interviews in rounds. Third round was with BP. This was the most pleasant interview. It felt like a talk about the industry and exchange of experience. One of the nicest, modest and knowledge people I met via recruitment process in general. This was the only interview which left feel good vibe afterwards. I had additional interview with director, which was supposed to be about the project and whether I would be a good fit for it. HR told me few times they are preparing offer for me and that this is just a project talk. First meeting was cancelled and they notified me 5 minutes before the start. When the meeting finally took place, director was investigating me for 20+ minutes if I really want to relocate. As this meeting lasted 30 mins I managed to get few sentences, literally, about the project. I missed a bit of insight to the teams work so I got opportunity to talk with one of the project leads additionally. Plus in the process was that everyone seemed approachable. Minus is it took sooo long from November when I was headhunted to March when they, more then month of last interview, replied to me they won't continue with the offer. This came after HR and director confirmed verbally they will. Five months in total. This unprofessional approach left heavy negative impression on the company at the end. To sum up long experience, be veeery vary with them, what they say and promise you. Wait for the official confirmation before making any move. In generale, impression is that team is lacking people and is a bit unorganized.
