Entrevista
This was a campus recruitment. I met people from the firm on at least two occasions before applying. I submitted a cover letter and resume through the campus application system. I received a notification the next day that I had been invited for a 1:1 on campus interview. I found it quite relaxed and easy compared to some of the other firms with which I interviewed. I met with the partner for 30 minutes and he talked for at least 10 minutes before he started asking me any questions. I felt very comfortable. I was offered an in house interview that involved three different 1:1 interviews followed by lunch with two associates. Two of the three people were easy to talk to, but the third person had a sheet of paper and was writing down my answers and asking very specific behavioral questions. I was nervous that I didn't do well on that third interview, but I was called with my offer a week later. Each person I met with made sure that I knew that the working hours would be significantly greater than 40 hours/week. I have a family, and they wanted to make sure I knew what I was in for, but one partner also told me how he has always been able to make time for his kids even at the beginning of his career.
It took 6 months from the time I was offered the position before I received my start date. I graduated in May, but my start date is October.

A clear and transparent process. Although it didn’t go all the way to the end, I could still feel the positive and collaborative company culture. The process included three rounds in total: an initial back-to-back interview with HR and the hiring manager, followed by a final round with a partner.

Entretien structuré pour le bureau de Bruxelles. Le processus s'est déroulé en plusieurs étapes : un premier contact RH, suivi d'un échange avec des directeurs. Les recruteurs sont bienveillants et transparents sur les attentes et la culture de la boîte. Les questions sont classiques mais exigeantes avec des questions techniques durant l'entretien avec une directrice qui n'hésite pas à aider un peu.
