I was very excited and lucky to have this experience; Deloitte is my first-choice firm and the one with the group of people I was looking forward to learning from. I would say I networked very thoroughly before I received my offer, and that was the only way I could have received it. Recruitment doesn't take place on my campus, so I relied on my personal contacts and chance encounters with the firm, building connections and relationships through them. I think they were really impressed with me, they offered me the position immediately. I worked hard to get to that final interview and was honest and genuine in my interview answers and demeanor. One area that I think Deloitte stands out in is maintaining an environment where I will always be challenged and driven. I am looking forward to it! I felt that my possible path at the other Big 4 I considered joining would have been a little smoother and slightly easier, so I took a strange leap of faith and decided to push myself. I met people from multiple Deloitte offices (same region) and personalities/vibes slightly vary, but ultimately Deloitte seems to be a group of very hard-working, extremely intelligent, and fun-loving professionals.

A clear and transparent process. Although it didn’t go all the way to the end, I could still feel the positive and collaborative company culture. The process included three rounds in total: an initial back-to-back interview with HR and the hiring manager, followed by a final round with a partner.

Entretien structuré pour le bureau de Bruxelles. Le processus s'est déroulé en plusieurs étapes : un premier contact RH, suivi d'un échange avec des directeurs. Les recruteurs sont bienveillants et transparents sur les attentes et la culture de la boîte. Les questions sont classiques mais exigeantes avec des questions techniques durant l'entretien avec une directrice qui n'hésite pas à aider un peu.
