Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Dev IQ em ago. de 2022
Entrevista
Similar to the other review on here. Interview process was really long and not worth it for the money. 1 hour interview with recruiter, 1 hour interview with software architect, 1 hour interview with two more software architects and CTO, Given Programming assignment (took about 4 hours), 1 hour review of code from assignment. Asked to do additional Programming assignment (4 more hours), 1 hour interview meeting with COO Don K. I got low balled by COO at 130k to 140k range but recruiter initially said 155k to 160k. Highly unprofessional. I would have never kept going but they strung me along.
Rejected at the end because I was not experienced enough...
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Dev IQ.

A recruiter from DevIQ reached out to me on LinkedIn, we chatted and decided to move forward with the interview process. I took a short personality test, then had 3 one hour meetings with different executives. 2 were more behavioral and 1 was more technical. The meetings were scheduled separately and the recruiter gave me feedback after every interview. After the interviews I was given a take home programming assignment and I probably spent around 2-3 hours on it. Then, a meeting was scheduled where I presented my solution and took questions about it. Also since I was interviewing for a lead position I was asked to review a sub-optimal version of the same programming assignment and provide feedback as if I was helping a junior developer.
Overall I though the interview process was fair and moved along quickly. I think it allowed me to showcase what I had to offer, there were no trick question or leet code style problems.
I liked the company and they made a competitive offer, but ultimately I decided for personal reasons not to join.

The interview process was very positive and Justicia, the recruiter, was always thorough and candid about each step. She helped me prep along the way.
I contacted her and we set up an initial chat within the week. Soon after, I had a technical phone screen with one of their senior engineers. He asked about my background and dove deep in technical subjects (Node.js, front end). I took a personality quiz and the results were shared with me and discussed as far as a fit for the company.
There was a code challenge step, but the recruiter helped fast track me since I had other offers outstanding and worked with my timeline.
The final round consisted of meeting the leaders and others I would be working with, including product. They're a small firm, but are led by industry veterans, so there were lots of opportunities to find your niche -- most questions were what you would expect when getting to know a candidate and their career/personal goals. The final conversation was a friendly technical chat about pros/cons and technical trade-offs for various topics.
