On campus first round interview. Then got the on-site interview one month later.
The on-campus interview is basically walking through the resume and asking me research related questions. The on-site interview is a mixture between technical and behavioral questions. The behavioral questions are very standard and like in any interview book. One question they repeatedly ask is that if you can sustain long hours of work if there is a upcoming urgent issue. The technical questions are very general. They do not ask you to solve specific math or coding problems, but ask you to describe the high-level strategy for analyzing a data set for a particular problem. For example, what model to use for a XX data set, what can be the typical problems, etc..

Pergunta 1
You utilize a model for a real data set. This model has a set of assumptions. How do you know that these assumptions are consistent with the real data?
I recently went through the interview process for a quant intern position. It started with an online assessment, which included coding challenges and math problems where I had to demonstrate my skills in algorithms, probability, and statistics. Then came the technical interviews, which were pretty demanding. I was asked some tough questions about mathematical concepts and algorithms, and had to solve complex problems in real-time, often using Python or C++.
After the technical round, there were behavioral interviews where they asked about my past experiences, my approach to work, and how I handle problem-solving under pressure. It was also a chance to show that I had strong interpersonal skills and could fit into a team.
Overall, I think I did well, even though some of the challenges were pretty stressful. But I prepared thoroughly, and I think my ability to think quickly under pressure really worked in my favor.

Had 2 rounds of interviews
- 1 round with a Senior Manager
This was pretty chill, and the questions were mostly about my previous experience.
- 2 round super day with 2 Senior Managers and 1 Partner
I didn’t quite like the super day experience because all the interviewers looked super busy and not interested in who they’re talking to. They either wanted to just move on and get this done or keep tackling me about my answers. I could feel that the work environment is not chill there.
