I had a telephonic interview which was initially scheduled for 30 mins but it went over 40 mins. The development manager who took my interview went indepth of my current project and asked couple of behavioral and scenario based questions. At the final step he said he is impressed by my answers. After few days I checked with the recruiting co-ordinator about the feedback which she replied that the hiring manager things I am too junior for this role. I have MS and 10+ years of experience, have worked with fortune 50 companies. When the hiring manager said he is really impressed it was a sarcasm?? To insult more I was called too junior. How about just saying not fit for the role?? Very unprofessional !!
