The interview process consisted of three phases: a phone call with the recruiter, a manager interview, and then a panel interview.
The recruiter's phone call was simple. I was asked about my reason for the job search, my salary, etc.
The manager interview asked common questions based on your resume and the role. We discussed the expectations for the person in this role, the schedule, the reason why you applied, and where I see myself in the next few years.
The panel interview was scheduled and canceled twice. They were both scheduled towards the end of the following week. The first one was canceled the day before the interview. The second one, a week later, was canceled less than an hour before the interview took place. This is just plain rude and truly heartless of the company. Why would you string an applicant along for a couple of weeks only to cancel the day of?
The last thing the coordinator said to me was this
“I hope you are doing well.
Please note your interview has been cancelled. Your recruiter will reach out to you shortly.
Appreciate your understanding and patience.”
She never reached out to me. The only reason I can think of for them to do this is that they have a toxic work culture that does not care about people. This is the worst applicant experience I have ever had at any company. If they treat their applicants with such blatant disrespect, I doubt they respect their employees at all.
