I heard about this position through a friend who works for the company. I applied through the website and received a phone call about three days later. The gentleman I talked to gave me so much information about the position, since it’s a 6- month contract with possibility of renewal. He discussed benefits and pay. A few days later, I received an email asking to schedule a Zoom interview with the head of the scheduling department. She was very pleasant to speak with and it didn’t feel like a rushed, unpersonalized interview. She asked me questions and gave me time to ask her questions, as well.

I wanted to come back to Fidelity TalentSource (this was my zillionth application to FTS), so I applied to another HR/TA position. I found the phone screener completely insulting. He was like, "Well, we are looking for someone starting out". I almost got defensive as I only have two years of HR experience, complemented by several years of volunteer HR experience. Two days later, I got the rejection letter. So after that, I decided to stop applying to Fidelity TalentSource since it is clear they do not want me back.
