Initially had great communication with ome of the recruiters. Had a phone screen and then I was invited to do on-site interview. I had, what seemed to be, a good interview. Got positive feedback during the interview and they even took the time to give me an office tour. Office looked really cool and the workplace culture seemed very positive. It seemed like a genuinely exciting place to work. I was told the expected follow up dates for next steps in the interview process would be by end of the following week at the latest. When that time came I hadn't heard anything, so I followed up via email, the recruiter responded within a few days that they'd have an answer soon but never followed up. I Followed up 5 days later, no response. Followed up again 5 days after that. Nothing... please don't ghosts your candidates. Job seeking is very exhausting and candidates making time to go to interviews and/or adjust their own schedule to accommodate is not easy. A rejection email takes 30 seconds, and ghosting a candidate is tremendously unprofessional and disheartening to a job seeker. This was an otherwise awesome company, but the ghosting communicated a company disorganized and/or they don't respect or value candidate's time, which could be a blessing in disguise but unprofessional nonetheless.

typical interview questions. why do you want to leave your current role? what is your leadership style? one question stood out, which was "what is your demeanor under stress, do you snap at people or do you look focused?"

Thoroughly explained the job, the process, as well as the ups and downs of the job. Basically tried to convince you not to work there because it is a strenuous job, but the benefits are great as well as the pay.

The FS recruiter reached out to me via careerbuilder. Started with a fairly easy and informational phone interview. I was offered an on-site interview for the following week. It began with basically a competency test followed by the actual interview with the hiring manager and the CEO. The former was incredibly nice and easy to talk to. The CEO on the other hand...he came off as very rude and condescending. He asked strange/unrelated questions. He would ask me to explain something on my resume and after a minute or two of explanation, he would look exasperated as if I had said entirely too much and it annoyed him. His phone went off several times. Now, I can understand that the CEO is a very busy person and I'm just a potential hire, but it really showed me how big of a priority I would be had I worked there. I was required to take a personality exam of sorts prior to the interview so that they could go over "what kind of person I am and if I would fit in the role". This was a very strange strange experience and honestly, the results and its addition to the interview didn't make much sense. Finished the interview off by going around the office and speaking with 2-3 potential coworkers. Everyone said the job "sucks" for the first year, which was very troubling to hear. I also found out most workers (around 30 in total) have been there for less than two years because they "couldn't handle it"....The entire interview lasted around 3 hours (which would have been a BIG problem had I been working at the time, luckily I wasn't).
