I went through 4 stages for the interview process. An initial telephone interview with someone from the HR team. They want to know about your experience with some competency type questions. They are looking to for people with enthusiasm about the business - I'd recommend doing some background research on the company and understanding the general business model (I was asked to describe what GLG do). The next step was a formal interview in person at the office. I met separately with 3 of the senior managers from different parts of the business, everyone was nice and friendly. The interview covered my background - I got the sense they were looking strongly at cultural fit and how well you would enjoy the style of work. Next is a case study. This is done remotely, someone from the office gives you a call to brief you on the case and then you'll have a couple of hours to do it and email through a response. The case study is fairly straight forward and gives you a sense of the type of work you'll be doing. The final phase is another in person interview session at the office, following the same format and line of questioning as the other session, perhaps with more senior staff.
