During the interview process, the culture came across as performative rather than substantive, with an emphasis on toughness and intensity over clarity, collaboration, or respect. The environment felt hollow and unnecessarily abrasive, which raised concerns about how pressure and accountability are actually handled day to day. Rather than reflecting high standards, the tone felt defensive and strained, which may reflect the pressures of a new startup.

I've always been interested in this company but just the job application process alone is the most insane thing I've EVER seen. Do they know how ridiculous it is? Resume, cover letter, an additional 9-10 questions that requires thinking, VIDEO SUBMISSION, WORK SAMPLES, and references. Can someone from the company please see this review and respond as to why it's such a lengthy process before you even get an interview? I'm really curious because from the application itself, it doesn't seem like a great place to work.
