Interview lasted about 30 minutes and was conducted with two managers. Position responsibilities were explained first and then I was asked about my resume and project experience. Interview was straightforward, and not overly technical.

I applied online through their job portal. This was a standard resume/cover letter/skills ask. After applying online, the wait period was quite some time (3 months). First was a phone screen for about 15 minutes with a recruiter and then an interview with the hiring manager that was about an hour.

Entrevista
I had two interviews - one with my future line manager, and another with potential supervisors. My line manager asked more behavioral questions, HR questions, and questions about my resume. My potential supervisors had asked questions about my resume primarily, and fit with the company. Overall, it was not a super difficult interview.

I actually was not interviewed. Well, not directly by Genentech anyway. I came in through the MECOP process.
I talked to a few people from HR and they confirmed things like my year in school. Then I went through a background check.
