The moment I signed onto the interview, I knew I wasn't getting the job. The hiring manager was completely checked out through the whole process. She introduced herself, described the job, then asked that I present my work. Okay, no problem, happy to do that. She kept emphasizing we had 30 minutes together, so I tried to give her some time to ask questions about me and my experience. By the time I'd finished presenting, she asked if I have any questions for her. She never once made an effort to get to know me or to ask why I'd be a good fit for the role. Honestly, I think she'd already had a candidate chosen and my interview was just a formality. I got the rejection notice at midnight the next day. I'm not sure what more I could've done!
