I interviewed with Genesys in early June 2019 for Markham location. Initially I got a mail from the HR asking for my transcript and whether I would be available to relocate from Montreal on my expenses. In the same mail, I was given a coding test to complete and respond within a week. I completed the test in 3-4 days and informed the HR. Then a call with the hiring manager was scheduled that was supposed to last for 30 minutes. If that went well, I was supposed to appear for an onsite aptitude test and technical interviews. The call with the hiring manager went very well and even exceeded by 20 minutes. In the end, the manager said that I was quite sound in my concepts and would soon be invited for the next stage of the process. 2 days passed and no mail from the HR. So I mailed her back asking about the feedback and next steps, but no response. I mailed her again 1-2 days later, still no response. So I tried to connect with the hiring manager over LinkedIn to ask if there was any discrepancy that needed to be resolved, but nothing. 10 days later, I received a rejection mail from the company! I really don't want to discourage anyone here, but just wish to highlight that treat the candidates humanly. Its a shame on the organization that the department that calls itself "Human" resources, can't justify its title at all. Also, learn to value others' time and efforts as much as you value yours! Really dissapointed, would never apply and recommend.
