Applied online. Received an auto-generated email from a technical recruiter to schedule an appointment with him/her following the link. Earliest appointment was 2-3 weeks out. Got rejected on the first screening phone call within 1.5 minutes.

I had a brief screening interview over Google meet. Initial invitation was sent to wrong recruiter, rescheduled to meet with correct recruiter later in the week. They had me fill out a pre-screening form that they then used as a template for much of the interview. The recruiter was new so 3 people sat in with her, they had all of us turn our cameras off which was a little odd. Pretty average interview questions, but I was surprised about how disorganized and unprepared the Google team was. I was told I would receive a response that week either way about next steps, and I haven't heard anything after a month. I received another offer so I did not feel a need to follow up, as they were also disorganized and unprepared.
